Soudal Plasterboard Adhesive Foam Gun Grade - 750ml
Soudal Plasterboard Adhesive Foam Gun Grade - 750ml is a fast-curing, ready-to-use polyurethane adhesive foam designed for the efficient fixing of plasterboard panels and insulation boards to a wide range of construction substrates. Offering a clean and convenient alternative to traditional mortar-based dot-and-dab adhesives, it eliminates the need for mixing, reduces material waste and significantly speeds up installation.
Applied using a standard foam applicator gun, the adhesive expands slightly to accommodate minor surface irregularities, creating a strong and reliable bond. Its rapid curing properties allow plasterboard to be ready for further finishing in as little as one hour, helping to improve productivity on site.
Suitable for use on most common building materials, including concrete, brickwork, blockwork, timber and masonry surfaces, Soudal Plasterboard Adhesive Foam Gun Grade provides a high-yield solution that can replace traditional bagged adhesive mortars while delivering cleaner working conditions and reduced manual handling. Soudal Plasterboard Adhesive Foam Gun Grade provides a fast, clean and professional solution for fixing plasterboard and insulation boards, helping contractors achieve reliable results while reducing installation time and site mess.
Consumption: One 750 ml canister can cover up to 12-14 m² of plasterboard installation, depending on substrate condition and application method.

- Fixing insulation boards
- Bonding OSB, MDF and timber-based panels
- Interior construction and refurbishment projects
- Application to concrete, masonry, brick and blockwork substrate
USAGE
- Ensure the surface is sound, clean and free from dust, grease, loose material and contaminants. Slightly dampening the substrate can improve adhesion and curing.
- Shake the can vigorously for at least 30 seconds before use and repeat periodically during application to maintain consistent performance.
- Secure the canister to a suitable polyurethane foam applicator gun and adjust the flow rate as required.
- Apply adhesive beads approximately 30 mm from the perimeter of the plasterboard and continue in a zig-zag pattern across the centre of the board.
- Wait until the adhesive becomes tacky, typically around 4 minutes depending on site conditions.
- Place the plasterboard against the wall, align correctly and press firmly into position for approximately 30 to 60 seconds.
- Leave the installation to cure before applying significant loads. Plastering can typically commence after approximately 1 hour.
