Redland Rosemary Clay Classic Roofing Tile & Half is a purpose-made fitting designed to maintain correct alignment and coursing in traditional plain tile roofing. At 1.5 times the width of a standard tile, it plays a vital role in preserving the broken bond pattern — especially at verges, abutments, and around roof features where standard tiles alone would disrupt the layout. Crafted in the UK from high-quality Etruria Marl clay, this tile offers exceptional durability, frost resistance, and colour consistency to match the full Rosemary Clay Classic range.
- Coverage: 60 slates/m2
- Weight per square meter: 67–77kg
- Surface finish: Smooth
Properties
- Ensures accurate spacing and staggered coursing in alternating rows
- Used where a full tile would misalign the pattern — ideal for gable ends, roof windows, and side abutments
- Produced using Etruria Marl clay for strength and long-term weather resilience
- Meets BS EN 1304 and BS 5534 for clay roofing tiles and wind uplift performance
- Matches the camber, texture, and colour of Rosemary Classic tiles for a unified appearance
Applications
- Perfect for residential properties, conservation areas, and projects where traditional aesthetics are paramount but modern performance is required.
Certifications
- Conforms to BS EN 1304: 2013 - Clay roofing tiles and fittings.
- Meets all the requirements of BS 5534:2014+A2:2018 - Code of practice for slating and tiling.
