MITECH MG is a deep‑penetrating, water‑based primer designed to strengthen and stabilise absorbent, chalking and weak mineral substrates prior to the application of adhesives, base coats, renders and façade paints. It improves substrate cohesion, regulates absorbency and enhances the adhesion of subsequent layers within the MITECH thermal‑insulation system.
MITECH MG penetrates deeply into porous mineral surfaces, binding loose particles and reducing excessive absorbency. This creates a uniform, stable base for ETICS adhesives, levelling mortars and thin‑coat renders. The primer is colourless, allowing easy visual control during application, and is suitable for both new‑build and refurbishment works. It is recommended for substrates such as cement render, lime‑cement render, concrete, masonry and old, absorbent coatings that require consolidation before further treatment.
