Knauf Longitudinal Connector for CD Profiles Suspended Ceiling Systems

Knauf Longitudinal Connector for CD Profiles – Suspended Ceiling Systems

Knauf Longitudinal Connector is a durable and easy-to-install accessory designed for extending CD 60/27 profiles in suspended ceiling frameworks. Manufactured from galvanised steel, it ensures corrosion resistance and long-term structural reliability. This connector enables secure linear joining of CD profiles, maintaining alignment and rigidity across extended ceiling spans. Its compact form and snap-in design allow for quick, tool-free installation, streamlining the assembly process and reducing labour time. Ideal for use in Knauf’s D112 and other metal grid ceiling systems, the 80 mm longitudinal connector supports efficient ceiling construction in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

CD profiles (specifically CD 60/27) are metal framing components used in the construction of suspended ceilings and drywall systems. They're part of Knauf’s standard ceiling framework and serve as:

• Primary and secondary support channels for gypsum boards.
• Made from galvanised steel, offering strength and corrosion resistance.
• Dimensions: typically 60 mm wide and 27 mm high, hence the name CD 60/27.

The D112 system is a two-level suspended ceiling system developed by Knauf.
