100mm x 250mm Welded Return Joist Hanger R100mm, designed for a range of applications and installation scenarios, similar to the standard Masonry Joist Hanger. The return feature provides enhanced lateral support by wrapping around the rear of masonry or timber elements. Standard configuration includes a 25mm drop on the return flange, while custom variations are available upon request. Crafted from robust 2.4mm thick pre-galvanized steel EN 10346 DX51D Z275, this hanger is also available in stainless steel .

• Position the back plate of the hanger flush against the vertical masonry support
• Ensure a minimum of 3 courses (675mm of masonry) above the masonry flange
• Allow both the supporting and upper masonry to mature before applying any loads
• Joist should be precisely square-cut and snug against the back of the hanger, with a maximum permitted gap of 6mm
• Secure the side flanges with 30 x 3.75mm galvanized square twist nails or equivalent
• Enhance lateral restraint using heavy-duty straps
• Always securely fix or appropriately embed the masonry flange, avoiding placement in dry slots
• Ensure compatibility of corrosion-resistant fixings – avoid mixing galvanized and stainless steel products
• Use the correct strength mortar as per British Standard guidelines

• Constructed from galvanized steel EN 10346 DX51D Z275 or grade 1.4301 austenitic stainless steel to EN 10088-2
