Owatrol Compo Clean cleaning agent for composites

Owatrol Compo Clean – Cleaning Agent for Composite Surfaces is a ready-to-use, water-based cleaner designed to restore the natural appearance of composite decking and cladding. Free from solvents and paraffins, it is environmentally safe and does not react with materials such as glass, plastic or stone. Its gel consistency prevents dripping, making it especially effective on vertical surfaces. Compo Clean removes greasy stains, moss, and both fresh and ingrained dirt on smooth or grooved composite boards.

Before Use

• Ensure surfaces are dry and free from sand and dust
• Shake well before opening
• Protect adjacent areas and vegetation
• Water nearby plants thoroughly
• Work continuously within each defined section for uniform results
• If mould or fungus is present, scrub with a 1:1 water and household bleach solution, leave 10–15 minutes, rinse and allow to dry (max. 18% moisture)
• Do not apply to hot surfaces
• Apply on vertical areas from bottom to top

How to Use

• Apply a thick, even layer of COMPO-CLEAN
• Leave for at least 5 minutes (longer for stubborn dirt)
• Scrub using a stiff synthetic brush
• Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water (pressure up to 50 bar)
• Ensure treated areas remain dry with good weather for at least 2 days
• Apply any additional finishing products only after 2–3 days

Coverage

• Approx. 5–10 m²/l depending on the surface type and condition

Application Conditions & Tools

• Apply between +5°C and +35°C
• Do not apply in full sun or on hot surfaces
• Use a synthetic roller or brush, and a stiff nylon brush for scrubbing
• Rinse using a garden hose or pressure washer
• Clean tools with water
